Today’s life drawing, haven’t done charcoals in a long time. I think they are much more fun than pencils when it comes to drawings like this.

A minor content shuffle, there is now a finished illustration/concept section (self-explanatory) and a section for all the other stuff where sketches and studies will go into.

And a couple new things here and there for both sections;

Another digital sketch and a life drawing quick sketch page – I think those were 2 and 5 minutes a piece. As I found out there won’t be any more sessions until END of January, gah.

Here is a final image (here is the earlier pencil sketch) done for a friendly competition at ArtOrder as a cover for a fictitious book.

Trying to make it work as a whole piece as well as separate pieces that will be visible on the front and back cover was an interesting challenge.

I’ll try to make some regular updates to this section, since it is a log after all, we’ll see how it goes.

Added some new life drawing sketches to the ‘pencil’ section.

The site is going through some changes (I think dark gray background works better) and I am adding new things such as matte section.
Gallery will undergo some reorganization in the next few days.

Stuff added, stuff removed, tweaked things all around.

Uploaded more images and revamped the gallery a bit for easier browsing. Images now open in the same window so no more problems with pop-up blockers.
No more clipped thumbnails (or so I hope) and in the future I’ll move the gallery to a separate engine to streamline it further.

Uploaded some images into the gallery. It’s a mix of new and old, mostly old. I’ll try to upload some newer stuff as soon as I can get to it.

Site is up and running, all the thanks for which go to Merlin. I still have some tweaking to do with font colors and other nonsense, and the images will get uploaded in the next day or two.
